Tax Specialist

Huawei Technologies Chile is looking for a Tax Specialist for our team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and Analyze Tax Policies:
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in local and international tax regulations and policies.
- Conduct thorough analyses to assess the potential impacts of these changes on the company’s operations and financial strategies.
- Engage in regular consultations and meetings with tax authorities to ensure compliance and address any emerging issues.
- Provide Expert Tax Advice:
- Offer professional and strategic advice on appropriate tax treatments to internal stakeholders, including both the business and finance departments.
- Ensure that all tax-related decisions align with the company’s overall financial goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax position.
- Lead and Manage Tax Projects:
- Oversee and coordinate tax-specific projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tax considerations into broader business initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in tax management.
- Perform Routine Tax Tasks:
- Execute routine tax-related tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records and documentation.
- Support the preparation and submission of tax returns and other required filings.
Knowledge and Work Experience:
- Expertise in Chile local tax regulations and practices
- Know well about International tax rules and practices
- Know basic accounting knowledge
- 1-2 years of work experience
Key Skillset:
- Good at using basic Office software
- Fast learner of new system/IT tools
- Good communication with others, be positive and open
- Fluent speaking English, good English writing
- At least Bachelor degree.
Working Location: Santiago, Chile (On-site)
